Tip #100- Rapid response
Read blogs relating to your industry on a regular basis, and if possible leave a comment. Along with this comment, leave a link to your own website or blog. Now, in a lot of cases this isn’t going to help with your search engine listings, as a lot of blogs have a ‘no follow’ tag (where search engine spiders don’t actually follow the links in comments. So why bother? Because other people will be reading the same blog and could be your potential customers – they may follow your link and sign up to your newsletter, read your articles, subscribe to your blog etc. And eventually they could become a client or customer. |
