Tip #233 - Give it away now
It amazes me that people are still wary of giving things away on their website, as if their knowledge is all that they have ad by giving it away they are akin to Samson losing his precious locks. The internet thrives on freebies and giveaways, and it always has. If you’re not giving something for free then the chances are your competitors are. The more you can put your name in front of prospective customers, the better it is for you. What can you give away? Articles, tip sheets, checklists, planning documents, templates – the list is endless. I get more business from the free articles I write (telling people how to do SEO themselves) than many other sources. |
