Tip #279 - Browsercam
www.browsercam.com It’s a sad fact of life and website ownership that some sites don’t look the same in all browsers. Some sites don’t even work in all browsers! Most days I come across a site that doesn’t work in Firefox, or slides off the screen in IE7 – and those are just the minor faults! With some site designs, you’re never going to get it perfectly right in every version of every browser (and it may be that you don’t need it to) – but there is a way to check. You can sign up for free with Browsercam; submit your website address, the browsers and operating systems you want to check, and click submit. Browsercam then gives you screen grabs of your website in each of the configurations you have chosen. You can also see how your website will look on a PDA with their new addition, DeviceCam if you have a paid account. –oOo- |
