Tip #89 - Weigh anchor
Weigh Anchor? So, we’ve talked about getting well anchored links to your site – e.g. having your keyphrase in the link that points to your site. We’ve also said to link to internal pages where possible. Now, here’s a fab tool that will let you see: - which sites are linking to you and - the anchor text (or linking text) that they are using http://66.147.236.203/~bhodge/cgi-bin/AnchorText/anchortext4.1.pl You can easily contact people that are linking to you and ask them to amend their anchor text if necessary.
